    • Gun violence is a public health crisis and thoughts and prayers aren’t enough. It’s time for bold action to protect our children, schools, and neighborhoods. As your next State Senator, I will fight for common-sense gun laws that keep weapons out of the hands of dangerous individuals while respecting responsible gun ownership. Gun violence has stolen too many lives, and inaction is not an option. I will fight for laws that save lives, protect families, and make Michigan safer for everyone, Because Our Kids Deserve More Than Thoughts & Prayers!
  • Stronger Laws, Safer Communities
    • Universal Background Checks,  no loopholes. Every gun purchase must include a background check to keep firearms away from violent offenders.
    • Safe Storage Laws – Gun owners must secure their weapons to prevent tragedies, especially in homes with children.
    • Red Flag Laws – Protect families by removing guns from individuals who pose an immediate danger to themselves or others.
    • Ban Ghost Guns & High-Capacity Magazines – These untraceable firearms and weapons of war have no place in our communities.
  • Fighting for a Safer Michigan
    • Keep Guns Out of Schools – Our classrooms should be safe places for learning, not shooting ranges.
    • Hold Gun Dealers Accountable – Strengthen oversight to prevent illegal sales and trafficking.
    • Restore Local Gun Boards – Give law enforcement the tools they need to prevent firearms from reaching dangerous individuals.
